Two games were played, resulting thus:  Woo-Ong: 1-0 and Ong-Woo: 1-0.
 Thus the match was drawn. 
Both decided not to play the third game and went for lunch instead.

54: Flashback: Inaugural Veteran Chess Championship

Seventeen years ago, the Inaugural Veteran Chess Championship was held in Serangoon Gardens Country Club. And it was no surprise that Prof Lim Kok Ann was crowned champion of the tournament.
I too participated but managed only to secure a 6th position out of 16 competitors. (Me: bottom left corner of group foto)
